"I had surgery on 5/3/24 and started PT 6/12/24 from then until now the progress is impeccable! I couldn't lift my left arm upward due to rotator cuff repair. Now I'm able to put my hair in a pony tail!! Dr Milner and, Julia (therapist) REALLY knows what they're doing. Very knowledgeable and knows exactly where the pain is to stretch it out. I also do the gym with Stanley. Very knowledgeable gentleman. Caters to your needs! The team at MBF gets you to the place where you need to be. I've looked at several YouTube channels to get other opinions regarding the same surgery and it took many at least 4-6 months before signs of recovery. While I'm aware that every "body" is different... it's less than 3 months for me, and my progress is AMAZING. I couldn't have gotten this far without the help of MBF Rehab. I gave them a five star but they deserve a 10! Let's not forget the receptionist/Secretary Rebecca always greeting you with a SMILE. If you're looking for a rehabilitation place to go, I HIGHLY recommend this place. You will not regret it!! "I found this place since it’s within walking distance from my house. I was dealing with herniated disc and sciatica pain after a gym injury. I’ve seen a vast improvement in my back pain since spending the past few months attending my sessions. Dr. Baranov, Tania, the massage therapist, and Olga, have all been wonderful. "Great professional treatment and service! I came to this place with a long lasting low back problem. I left this place with no pain. Moreover, I am able to do activities I was not able to do before the treatment. These are my results. However, I could never achieve this result without an excellent team like theirs. Doctor Michael, who diagnosed my problem properly and organized the treatment very fast and at the convenient time for me. Olga, the front desk assistant, who in every treatment meets you with a smile and is ready to assist you if you need help. "Went in expecting the usual PT routine where a couple of exercises are suggested and within 30 mins you’re out the door. I was dead wrong The PT reviewed my X-rays and did multiple stress test to give me a detailed explanation of my injury (bone contusion/sprained MCL). Then proceeded to direct me to 30 minutes of electro and massage therapy. Following that I had 1 hour of direction in the gym. Then finally I also got my knee taped so it could lessen the tension. I was there 8 times, and all 8 times I got the same amount of treatment and detail for 1:30 to 2 hours per session. All boosted by extremely friendly staff and medical professionals. 10/10"

"My experience here superseded my previous expectations and perception on pain management medicine. Dr. Michael Baranov is sympathetic and has an impressive understanding of the science. I have upper back pain from a car accident that took place 10 years ago. The pain is manageable. But because of covid I started working at home and stopped attending the gym. I gained weight and sitting down all day made my back pain excruciating. A friend recommended me to Dr. Michael Baranov who is also certified in spinal manipulation. We set a game plan on day one. As long as you stick to your plan and check in with the doctor i’m almost certain you will feel much better. It’s currently week 5 since i’ve been coming here and the pain is all gone. Thank you Doctor! And to the staff of MBF physical therapy."

"I was very happy with Dr. Michael Baranov services.I didn’t have an MRI to bring him but he was able to accurately explain what is wrong with me and due to his use of evidence based practices, he gave me exercises that will decrease my neck stiffness and pain from my underlying issue. He also was straight forward and honest and did not force me to come in more than I needed to (since I am a fellow therapist) which helps with my bank account compared to other practices. If I have a new issue I know who to come to for next time!!!"

"Dr. Baranov and his Fresh Meadows office restored my faith in P. T. after 6-month of gloom elsewhere. His comprehensive, educational and pro bono initial consultation should be a model for other practitioners in this business. With holistic help from Dr. Trif, followed up by exercise sessions, I gradually regained decent control of my leg. Detail-oriented, knowledgeable (and speaking, at least, 3 languages) Stanley, is a valuable asset to the office. Now, left with enough info to continue self-therapy at home, I look forward to my further recovery."

"I had a problem with my left shoulder. I went to a few physical therapy offices, but noone was able to help me. A few months ago, i went to MBF Rehab. After about four weeks of terapy, my shouldsr feels so much better!!! Thank you Dr Baranov for bringing my life back to normal."

"I came to Michael Baranov Medical office a few months ago.No issues to get an appointment.The staff is amazing,which provided me a welcomed feeling as soon as I arrived.Physical Therapist educated me on my injury and provided me with an exeptional care throught the course of my treatment.I felt a relief right after the first session .In my opinion ,they do an incredible job in an extremely friendly and caring atmosphere!!!"

"Dr. Baranov is so great at what he does- greatly limited my back pain and improved my posture. Playing tennis from a very young age created a winging scapula and rounded shoulders. Working with him helped me correct muscular imbalances in my shoulder region and corrected the muscular imbalances from a one-hand dominant sport like tennis. He showed me proper stretches and exercises that were easy to follow up with at home and in the office. Now, after 6 months of physical therapy, my scapula is not winging anymore and my muscular imbalances are virtually nonexistent. I cannot thank him enough- Highly recommend him to anyone. "

"I came to MBF Rehab Physical Therapy a few months ago after having a ski trauma on my knee. I was in an extreme amount of pain and was very unhappy about the long rehabilitation my doctor prescribed. But I actually began to feel better after the first physical therapy treatment . Everyone there was extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable and at ease. I worked with a couple different therapists including Michael Baranov during my rehabilitation and appreciated getting to learn different exercises and stretches from both of them. I felt comfortable asking any question and was so impressed by and grateful for the time and attention the therapists gave me.My knee improved tremendously and I don't need surgery! Excellent and intelligent therapists, friendly staff, and an all-around nice place. Highly recommend If you need physical therapy."

"About 5 years ago I tore my labrum playing football. Even after surgery I felt massive discomfort in the area for the past 4 years. After Dislocating the shoulder 1 year ago and experiencing the pain and discomfort increase I went to MBF. I spent about 4 months at MBF and the Entire office was very nice and professional. Dr. Baranov is genuinely a genius in physical therapy. He explained exactly the hows, whys and whats every exercise was going to help my shoulder. For the first time in 5 years my shoulder is pain free and useful in its full range of motion. I can not thank MBF rehab enough for the good they have done for me and my shoulder."

"I can highly recommend MBF therapy clinic. I was under care of Dr. Baranov, and he was great. He was attentive to details, professional and gave me the right treatment and was right on the mark with the treatments he provided. The pain that I suffered for 12 months was significantly reduced in just 4 sessions with him. I would recommend him and his staff with confidence!!!
